Abstract
Se toma como marco de referencia las principales líneas que la teología y la historia han recorrido a lo largo del siglo XX, para abordar la realidad eclesial colombiana a partir del Concordato de 1887 hasta el presente, y finalmente proponer algunos
aportes teológicos, cuya práctica es valiosa para la historia de la Iglesia, en especial, para su enseñanza. Entre los aportes se citan: el cambio de perspectiva, la puesta en práctica del concepto eclesiológico del Vaticano II, la preocupación por el pueblo, la renuncia a hacer una historia apologética y el desarrollo de algunos temas como la pastoral, la liturgia, la evangelización y la presencia social y política de la Iglesia.
