Abstract
La presencia de Cristo es múltiple y se podría hablar de un doble movimiento que va de la creación, pasando por la historia y la Iglesia a concluir en la eucaristía misma. En cada una de esas etapas está Cristo, pero de modo más denso cada vez. Quien puede reconocer estas presencias y acepta por la fe la de Jesucristo en la eucaristía, entonces experimenta que no se llega a la cumbre para una visión extática, sino que se impele a una misión para que quienes aún no reconozcan esa presencia del Resucitado en las cuatro etapas también tengan la oportunidad de hacer ese mismo recorrido.
En nuestro contexto violento, quizás sacral para algunos, los católicos no celebramos la muerte, ya que el último sacrificio debió ser el de Cristo, Él mismo remplazó el sacrificio cultual por otro culto: el de un banquete en donde los hermanos encuentran perpetuada la presencia del Resucitado que los envía a dar la
propia vida por los hermanos.
