Abstract
Los espiritualismos y los materialismos son reductivos dividen y absolutizan el mundo y al hombre en dos series independientes, lo material y lo espiritual. Pero todo lo que hay en el mundo,en cuanto real, existe superando la dispersión y la indefinición. Es decir, cada cosa tiene su propia medida, su propia riqueza, su propia solidez, su propia firmeza; un modo propio de mostrase. El hombre en cuanto «cosa» real posee su propio sistema estructural de notas, su propia definición. Visto así, el hombre se halla compuesto de una sustancia psíquica, y de millones de sustancias materiales. Pero todos ellos constituyen una sola unidad estructural. El hombre no es aquí unión de cuerpo y alma como en el esquema clásico hilemórfico donde el hombre se presenta como unión de dos sustancias sino unidad radical psicosomática en la que lo somático está psiquizado y lo psíquico esta somatizado.
