Abstract

Ante la aparición de una nueva encíclica papal, titulada Evangelium Vitae, es decir, "El Evangelio de la Vida", en la cual el aborto y la eutanasia constituyen los temas centrales, he deseado por medio de este artículo hacer una presentación del texto pontificio, deteniéndome en el tema de la eutanasia con el fin· de estimular la reflexión sobre un tópico tan delicado de la teología moral. Este tema plantea acuciantes implicaciones éticas a los profesionales de la salud; por este motivo me referiré a ellas de forma explícita.
