Abstract
Colombia hasta ahora no había querido saber que los grupos étnicos existían, que existían los indígenas, que existían los negros y que sus condiciones de marginalidad son la medida del etnocentrismo del país. El modelo está montado en el falso argumento de la única nacionalidad blanca, donde no hay espacio para las diferencias. Es la negación del otro, la ceguera ante lo diverso. Esta pretensión de hacer invisibles a las minorías étnicas va diezmando la vida de negros e indígenas, va matando su cultura, esa que los distintos grupos humanos han producido y recreado durante cientos de años y que comunica una identidad que negros e indígenas tienen derecho a vivir en este país que -quiérase o no- es multiétnico y pluricultural.
