Abstract
La Iglesia católica ha sido por más de cuatro siglos testigo excepcional de la historia de Bogotá y, a la vez. protagonista de muchas de las realidades que allí se han dado desde su ya lejana fundación. Su presencia ha sido amplia en todos los campos de la sociedad y ha gozado, por lo general, de una cordial acogida por quienes habitan y conforman la vida de la capital de la República.

Thus, this work may be reproduced, distributed, and publicly shared in digital format, as long as the names of the authors and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana are acknowledged.
