Abstract
El tema que se me ha asignado para esta exposición continúa el desarrollado esta mañana por el P. Mario Gutiérrez. El nos presentó una densa reseña de lo que hemos dado en llamar "el estilo de vida ignaciano". Nos describió la semblanza espiritual de Ignacio de Loyola, peregrino de Dios, destacando los rasgos específicos con los que él apropió para sí mismo y para la Compañía de Jesús el seguimiento de Jesucristo en la Iglesia de su tiempo. Y nos incitó a participar en la misma experiencia de vida en el Blpíritu, según las condiciones y exigencias del mundo de hoy. Porque ese estilo conserva plena vigencia y el mismo Blpíritu de Jesús nos alienta a encarnarlo hoy para actualizar en nuestras propias vidas y en nuestros trabajos un seguimiento de Jesús y un servicio que prolongue su obra para los hombres y mujeres de nuestro tiempo.
