Abstract
Hemos querido darle una importancia capital a este encuentro, de tal manera que cada uno de ustedes (los Directivos de la Universidad) se sienta personalmente invitado a tomar parte activa en sus deliberaciones. Quiera Dios que éstas nos lleven no solamente a un conocimiento más profundo de lo que se significa con el ténnino "nueva evangelización" y sus implicaciones en nuestra América Latina en este quinto centenario de la primera evangelización, sino que en un trabajo realmente académico podamos llegar a sugerencias operativas que sean traducibles desde ahora en acciones concretas en nuestra vida académica, del medio universitario y de la vivencia pastoral diaria de nuestra comunidad.
