Abstract
En este año se cumplen veinte años de la Segunda Conferencia General del Episcopado Latinoamericano, realizada en Medellín. Es ocasión propicia para acercarnos a su significado histórico, que se profundiza con el caminar del pueblo cristiano en nuestro continente. Para ello queremos respondernos los siguientes interrogantes:
¿ Qué sucedió en la Iglesia universal y latinoamericana que hizo posible Medellín? ¿Qué sucedió en Medellín que, a partir de entonces, el rostro de la Iglesia latinoamericana cambió?
