Abstract
La lectura teológica del ordenamiento jurídico es necesaria para una adecuada e inteligente acción pastoral. Se trata de una verdadera confrontación dialéctica entre la teología y la ley, de un diálogo que permita al canonista hacer la hermenéutica de la norma, y que, al mismo tiempo, lleve al teólogo a valorar la ley y la institución jurídica. Hay que respetar la norma canónica, pero también hay que someterla al análisis crítico de la teología, para que la letra no mate al espíritu y la pastoral no resulte distorsionada. Si queremos que las normas jurídicas estén al servicio de la pastoral, y no al revés, tendremos que "leer" esas normas con una mente abierta e interpretadora.
