Abstract
La sospecha urdida adquiere visos de lacerante acusación: una gran corriente de la Iglesia total, los teólogos europeos progresistas y simpatizantes del tercer mundo, pero peculiarmente la teología criolla latinoamericana y los teólogos de periferia habrían suplantado a Dios por el hombre, y entonces también la salvación por la liberación, la biblia por la ciencia social, la verdad eterna por el sentido relativo, la Iglesia por las comunidades de base, el cristiano a secas por el pobre y oprimido, la teología por una acción socio-política planificada y estratégica; todo lo cual habría conducido a trasmutar los valores religiosos por los profanos.
