Este foro sobre los derechos humanosEste foro sobre los derechos humanosconvocado por la UniversidadJaveriana, así como los otrosque se han cumplido en el país, sehan caracterizado por la altura intelectualde los diversos exámenesrealizados, y porque a todos nos haanimado el propósito no de sometera juicio las acciones del gobierno,censurar las actividades de determinadasinstituciones o cualquieraotra finalidad análoga, sino el deseode suscitar en el país una serie dereflexiones sobre la importancia delos derechos humanos, sobre lanecesidad de que Colombia recorrala distancia que la separa de suplena vigencia. Porque los derechoshumanos, obviamente, no constituyenpatrimonio de nadie específicamente, ni como grupo político ni como institución.
