Abstract
No faltan quienes han puesto en duda si el apostolado intelecutal sigue teniendo cabida en la Iglesia de hoy, justamente preocupada como nunca por el urgente apostolado de tipo social que busca la promoción de la justicia entre los hombres. La responsabilidad que tengo de procurar que un cuerpo apostólico como es la Compañía cumpla cada vez mejor su misión, me impulsa a insistir en la necesidad de aportar nuevas energías al apostolado intelectual hoy. De esto tratará la primera parte de este escrito.
