Abstract
Sin desconocer la distinción, todavía en uso en algunos medios, entre evangeIizaclón como anuncio del mensaje cristiano a los paganos, y catequesis; como instrucción sistemática a las de casa, emplfJaré aquí los dos términos como sinónimos, entendiendo por catequesis no la transmisión de conocimientos relativos a Dios y al orden sobrenatural, sino la iluminación de la realidad humana concreta del catequizando a la luz del Evangelio (GS 92). Y por Evangelio entiendo no precisamente el anuncio de determinadas proposiciones, sino el de la obra de Dios en la historia humana a través de Jesucristo, con la riqueza de facetas que de éste ofrece el Nuevo Testamento.
