Abstract

During its presence in history, the Church has had different forms of ministerial organization, with consequently theoretical and practical interpretations. The purpose of the research “Leadership and service in the catholic tradition: texts regarding ministries in gender perspective” is to study these changes. A second research, “Gender and leadership in the Catholic tradition” intends to answer, from a genderedoriented re-reading of the results of the first research, why women have been historically excluded from the hierarchical organization of the Catholic Church up to now.
