Abstract

This paper is an approach to the questions raised by the emerging rationalities (“Critique of utopic reason”, “Critique of instrumental reason”, “Critique of anamnetical reason”, among others) for modern biblical studies. It tries to show how these academic discourses have kept these studies in continuous agitation. Those questionings generate crisis situations. Some elements are offered to pinpoint the present crisis in biblical studies, from the viewpoint of methodology and exegetical interpretation. Lastly, the paths are shown to which present biblical exegesis is being called.
