Abstract
The role of religions and spirituality in the processes of migration and human displacement is the object of this current work. The high relocation rate of people is one of the most important characteristics of the current world. Migration studies demonstrate a strong correlation between processes of violence and this relocation in the case of the so-called third world countries. In this context, religion and its associated spirituality are presented as mediation tools in the processes of adaptation to the environment of the destination zones and as source of new social sense.
