¿Escribir una historia social del antiguo Israel?

Abstract

El proyecto de una historia social del antiguo Israel tiene la intención de superar la limitación de la exégesis tradicional en los métodos literarios y el entendimiento de la historia de Israel como historia de acontecimientos. Su sujeto es la forma social del antiguo Israel en su cambio histórico. Sus fuentes son la  geografía; la arqueología y la epigrafía, los textos bíblicos, la sociología y la antropología. Con la ayuda de estas fuentes se intenta reconstruir la historia social del pueblo de Israel para entender mejor los mismos textos de la Biblia.
