La existencia interior, la experiencia de la interioridad, es el suelo fértil sobre el cual está construida la obra poética de Eduardo Cote Lamus. Lo anterior se refiere a la producción que se inicia en el tercero de sus libros, Los Sueños (1951-1955), en donde da comienzo una segunda etapa de su vida espiritual y su trabajo.
