Abstract
Como siempre al día siguiente y más temprano que nunca, fuimos llegando al bramadero. Como dato curioso, él, que siempre había sido el primero, aquella tarde no estaba allí (...). Mientras que las alucubraciones del por qué de la ausencia de mi viejo iban y venían, llenando el espacio de la tertulia de aquella tarde, mi madre y yo sin que el grupo se diera cuenta, fuimos hasta su cuarto (...). Nuestra presencia no lo inmutó, parecía en otro mundo (...). Nosotras sin pronunciar palabra, en una actitud de respeto y complicidad nos fuimos a la cocina, allí nos sentamos al lado del fogón que todavía calentaba con las pocas brasas que le quedaban.
