Abstract

This paper contains a brief description of some aspects of the judges in the
history of the Commercial Law in Colombia with a reference to the French
judicial system of commerce. Stands for the necessity of contribute to build a stronger justice for the development of Colombian Commercial Law to avoid some negative aspects such as the non concurrence to a commercial judge in some trials, the privatization of justice in arbitration tribunals and the collision of the scope of the Constitutional Court with Commercial Law issues (which should be out of its jurisdiction).
