Abstract
Since the explanation of the reasons of the 599th law of 2000, it has been insisted on the fact that the regulation of the omission in the Colombian criminal law, derives from the contents of the solidarity principle, established in the Political Constitution.
It is because of this, that an analysis of the considerations about the subject that has been carried out by the Constitutional Court is necessary, about the relationship of it and the omission regulation among us, from a brief description of this last institution. In this way, some conclusions can be achieved in order to explain the constitutional solidarity as a basis of the acting duties in front of inappropriate omission crimes.
