Abstract

Many philosophers, politicians and theologians support the “right and the duty of the legitimate public authority to lay the dead penalty” to the authors of certain crimes. Even thought, traditional philosophers and theologians had shown de due compassion with victims, it is necessary to surpass this postures with arguments from philosophy and theology which illuminate a victimology of maxims in pro of the advances to abolish the capital penalty.
