Abstract

This research paper comprises a study about the Autonomous State: regional, provincial and district in comparative law.

The territorial descentralization proceedings are deeply investigated, also, remote origins of the provincial and middle age regions autonomy claiming. Also is reviewed, the consequence of the French monarchy obstinate of no recognize this natural reality of the people’s right to self-administration, in the administrative and politic aspects, which resulted to the French revolution in 1789.

The autonomous regions in the diverse political charts of England, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Germany, United States, the Chinese constitution and the Colombian constitution are studied.

It is added to this study an investigation about the regionalism in Colombia and its influence in the provincial, district and in the Indian territorial in accordance with the 1991 Politic Constitution and with the National Constitutive Assembly thinking.
