Abstract

The independent agencies have had a remarkable influence over
administrative reforms in the most prestigious juridical systems. This
fact invites us to get a better understanding of one of the most noteworthy juridical institutions in the american legal framework.

Notwithstanding, there are some difficulties related with both their
constitutional validity according to the US Constitution, and the
presidential faculties for making and carring out the public policy.
By analyzing this essay, readers may achieve the fundamental tools
that will allow them to understand not only the beginning of the
independent agencies, but also their evolution and, finally, a complete
diagnosis on the current relations between independent agencies and
the United States president.
