Abstract

This article offers an answer to the question of how incompatible reconstructions of a same historical event are possible. The answer to this question is simple: they are possible because of the nature of the discourses that try to rebuild past facts; it generates relations between past and future facts from the perspective of who is rebuilding. The case Isxq Vs. Lseh will be used to prove it, by showing the relations between History and Law, and the way their language users build factual narratives to justify incompatible points of view over the same historical event.
