Abstract

This article pretends to show the control of public administration in the Spanish period of our history. The limits of the power is not and invention of French Revolution, is an manner of behavior in the colonial administration. We study one institution of this form of control, her name is La Visita. The state of law is a mix between ideas of Ancien Régime and thought of liberal revolutions. One of this techniques that survive today in the state of law is the control to the power, to the government, and her begins in the colonial period.
