Abstract

This essay aims to show the way E. Husserl approaches thephenomenology of consciousness. For that purpose, there is aninitial reflection about intentionality, a foundational concept ofphenomenology. Subsequently, an explanation of the phenomenologicalreduction and of the region of the pure consciousness is developed. Finally, as a conclusion, there are brief commentaries about som evariants phenomenology has adopted in addition to the possibilities it offers to cognitive studies on consciousness.
