Abstract
This paper aims to present Wittgenstein's view on ethical and religious expressions in both the Tractatus and A Lecture on Ethics. It also attempts to figure out what could have been his views on the subject in the second stage of his thought according to the statements he makes in the Philosophical Investigations, after the criticism and rejection of his views on the limits of language and the relations between language and reality as stated in the Tractatus. This piece has three parts, the first two aim to locate and focus on the ethical and religious perspective in what Wittgenstein himself called correct vision of the world, the third wishes to contribute to the debate on the ways of understanding the ethical and religious usages of language. This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
