Abstract
The subject of post-modernity has raised interest and also all kinds of criticisms. Concerns relate to politics, market, democracy, communication, traditional social actors, ethnic groups, cultures and multi-culturality, etc. Therefore the scope of the discussion is very broad and demands an academic effort, also an objective and also responsible and critic perspective. Information on Latin-American academic production on the debates about post-modernity provided by this piece aims to be a challenge and an invitation to a responsible criticism.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License. Thus, this work may be reproduced, distributed, and publicly shared in digital format, as long as the names of the authors and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana are acknowledged.
