Abstract
This study seeks to outline Jan Lukasiewicz's arguments meant to surpass determinism supported by Aristotle's logical system. By refuting determinism at its roots, based on the logical principie of tertium exclusum and the principie of causality, Lukasiewicz seeks to assert man's free action in more significant realms for the human spirit such as logic and philosophy.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License. Thus, this work may be reproduced, distributed, and publicly shared in digital format, as long as the names of the authors and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana are acknowledged.
