Abstract
Este artículo analiza el proyecto metafísico de A.N. Whitehead, quien -a juicio del autor- proyecta un sistema filosófico a la altura de las ciencias modernas al abandonar el concepto de sustancia y reemplazarlo por el de proceso: el ser (entidad actual) como proceso. Ahora, si bien todas las entidades actuales son proceso, es posible explicar la individualidad e identidad de estas entidades si se comprende que este proceso ocurre en unidades individuales atómicas, es decir indivisibles, evitándose así la continuidad del proceso. De esta manera Whitehead pretende abolir las aporías de Zenón de Elea: el acto extenso del devenir no admite división ya que transcurre como un todo.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
