Abstract

Según Danilo Cruz Vélez, con Romero "en nuestra América se comenzó a vivir en la normalidad filosófica." Romero creía en las metas infinitas de la humanidad moderna y trabajó en consecuencia para que estas se implantasen en el ámbito latinoamericano. Teoría del hombre, obra fundamental de Francisco Romero, plasma su intuición central de que "ser es trascender" y plantea una antropología filosófica en una dimensión vertical, al contrario del enfoque, en dimensión horizontal, de los "existenciarios" de Heidegger.
