Abstract
Habitualmente, la filosofía aparece ante el sentido común como un saber extraño e, incluso, opuesto. Esta percepción hace que uno y otra reaccionen dogmáticamente para proclamar o para conciliar diferencias, de tal modo que la filosofía siempre resulta perdedora ante el sentido común ya sea porque éste puede existir sin ella, o porque declina su saber ante el sentido común. Ciertamente la filosofía no puede ni evitar ni disminuir el conflicto. Debe realizarlo. Para ello debe poner en juego su impulso originario: el saber que es para ella, ante todo, tarea. Es en la tarea de saber y no en un saber donde se enfrenta a otro, donde se experimenta y resuelve el conflicto. Más que un sabio, el filósofo es ante el sentido común un hábil experimentador del saber capaz de soportar el dolor y la desesperación que la tarea de saber implica.This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
