Abstract

Este articulo forma parte de una serie de estudios que tienen como finalidad explicitar la génesis del concepto ''DEMOCRACIA'' y de los modelos que la praxis política occidental ha pretendido identificar como "democráticos".

Visto ya el sentido de la DEMOCRACIA en la Grecia Antigua y los aportes de la Filosofía Suareciana a la nueva concepción política de la época moderna, analizamos, aquí el aporte de John Loche.

Presentamos nuestro estudio dividido en cuatro partes:

1. Una introducción que permita ubicar el pensamiento politico de Locke en su época.
2. Una ubicación de la teoria de Locke en el marco científico de su época.
3. Un acercamiento al significado del término "DEMOCRACIA" en Loche.
4. Un análisis de las notas caracteristicas de la DEMOCRACIA en Locke.
