Abstract
Sin pretensiones de hacer un estudio completo sobre el tema enunciado, el autor de este artículo presenta una visión general del horizonte filosófico en que se mueve M. Foucault poniendo particular atención al análisis foucaultiano del poder.
El trabajo concluye con algunas observaciones críticas sobre la posición de Foucault frente a la verdad, a la relación entre discurso y realidad y sobre todo, en torno a la concepción desarrollada por el pensador francés, recientemente fallecido, de la sociedad como campo de fuerzas antagónicas.
