Abstract
El presente trabajo -que pretende ser la continuación del publicado por el mismo autor, en el No. 2 de esta revista, bajo el titulo Filosofía-Lógica-Matemáticas-, plantea la pregunta por la naturaleza de la verdad matemática. Después de criticar algunas concepciones sobre la verdad de la Matemática, consideradas como insuficientes por el autor, el estudio se centra en la presentación de la tesis que considera las proposiciones matemáticas como proposiciones analíticas. Finalmente intenta mostrar que el carácter analitico —vacío de todo contenido empírico— que posee la Matemática no impide la aplicabilidad de este saber al ámbito de lo empírico. En este émbito la Matemática se limita a explicitar —sin añadir nada nuevo— los contenidos empiricos no inmediatamente evidentes contenidos en las distintas teorías científicas.
El presente articulo no intenta superar el carácter introductorio a la Filosofía de la Matemática que se quiso imprimir al trabajo anterior.
