Abstract
In this essay, we analyze the concept and the role of music, and especially of musical measure, within Hegelian aesthetics, either as a perceptual manifestation of the spirit or as a vehicle for self-knowledge. Subsequently, we argue that musical measure constitutes a primary objectivity that organizes sound over time, generating a kind of magical power that connects the musical piece with the listener's inner soul. Through measure, the spirit imprints order on time and reveals a cognitive dimension that transcends the immediacy of sound. Thus, music presents itself as a unique artistic form that unites interiority and reason in a revelatory experience for human beings.
