Abstract
In this communication it is stated that Greek myths keep their use in the contemporary culture, and this point is exemplified with the myth of Orpheus. The myth is analyzed phenomenologically and this is exemplified it in plastics, under the aspect of music and in the transgressive attitude of the character. In such manner it is possible to find a way that allows us to establish: first, the dialogue with the myth of Orpheus aiming to reach the nucleus of the union with some of the multiple artistic manifestations that it has given rise to. And, second, we will try, hermeneutically, to enter in the understanding of our time bringing to light its philosophical meaning.
