Abstract
This paper is a reflection about the way Strare understands the ethical definition that mobilization demands from each and every individual, in other words, the definition of a way of life for times of war. In order to do so Sartre keeps a "war diary" which presents it self, in Sartre's words, as the diary of both a radical crisis and a radical conversion. Here his reflection shows the Jeep roots of his understanding of his own self and also his understanding of ethics. The way of life he led before the mobilization is critically examined and so his reflection takes the shape o a concrete ethics – one that deals with the questions about the meaning and worth o life, or, in ancient Greek terms, about the conditions that make a life worth living. This journal is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
