Abstract
El objetivo del estudio es analizar la situación de vulnerabilidad de los suelos agrícolasante el fenómeno de erosión hídrica y eólica, en la región centro-sur del estado de Nayarit, desde un enfoque económico-ambiental, utilizando una metodologíade sistemas geográficos de información y considerando cinco cultivos principales:fríjol, hortalizas, maíz, mango y sorgo. A su vez, se destaca que la región cuentacon un sector agrícola debilitado, acompañado de un alto porcentaje de poblacióneconómicamente activa, con bajos salarios. Esta actividad se ve alterada por suvulnerabilidad ante la erosión de los suelos, afectando mayormente a los suelosde tipo luvisol crónico en los municipios de Tepic y Santa María del Oro, donde secombinan pastizales inducidos. Por otro lado, la erosión es menor en la agriculturacombinada con selva caducifolia, lo que muestra la necesidad de generar y actualizarinformación edafológica en la región.Ambiente y Desarrollo is registered under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License.
