Resumo

Neste artigo, prova-se um modelo que explica a competitividade em um ambienteorganizativo. Com esse objetivo, integra conceitos do enfoque de capacidadesdinâmicas, da teoria da contingência e da visão da empresa baseadanos recursos naturais. Avalia-se a hipótese de que a incerteza percebida noambiente empresarial modera a relação entre a capacidade dinâmica da estratégiaambiental proativa e a vantagem competitiva, ao empregar dados de umapesquisa a 129 empresas de Bogotá e um enfoque parcialmente restringido dosmodelos de equações estruturais de interação latente. Os resultados indicamque a incerteza percebida sobre as preferências dos clientes e as mudançasna estratégia ambiental dos competidores e sobre os recursos e serviços ambientaismoderam a relação entre processos e práticas ambientais relacionadoscom o produto e a vantagem de custos.
