Resumen

Este artículo analiza algunas de las capacidades dinámicas por las que unaempresa colombiana puede ser  Born Global, entre ellas la influencia de lasalianzas estratégicas, la orientación al mercado y el aprendizaje organizacional.Con información de una encuesta a 297 empresas manufactureras del paísrealizada en 2011 se identifican dichas capacidades empleando un modelo deredes neuronales artificiales. Se encuentra que las empresas de internaciona lizaciónacelerada se distinguen principalmente porque se apoyan en el aprendizaje,la socialización y el conocimiento de su mercado para trazar estrategiascompetitivas. Estos resultados extienden la investigación de las empresas BornGlobal al campo de la estrategia empresarial.
