Resumen

El presente artículo tiene por objetivo principal proponer un sistema de mensuraciónde desempeño de los segmentos de franquicias existentes en Brasil,a través de la elaboración de indicadores relacionados a los factores externosconsiderados como críticos, basándose en datos económicos y no económi cosque quedaron disponibles públicamente por la Associação Brasileira deFranchising (ABF). Con los resultados, fueron desarrollados cinco indicadoresde desempeño para el sistema, además de la aplicación de ese modelo en unsegmento específico dentro del sistema de franquicias de Brasil, para fines deanálisis de las informaciones obtenidas y el test de la confiabilidad de los parámetrosutilizados, identificando para ambos que el modelo es confiable deacuerdo con los criterios de evaluación establecidos.
