Abstract
A través de siete dramaturgias chilenas se analizan los modelos de familias presentes en sus conflictos dramáticos e imaginarios. Desde estas siete obras, se ofrece un análisis crítico que comprende tanto la dimensión sincrónica de sus constantes, así como también se concluyen las transformaciones que se advierten en un análisis diacrónico. De este modo, se sugiere una lectura de las funciones que cumple el modelo de familia representado, junto con las relaciones que establece en su vinculación contingente de la esfera pública.
