Fitotopías: lugares de agenciamiento político

Abstract

Phytotopies: places of political agency is a hybrid research-creative text whose starting point is the autofiction of an editor who imagines herself as the curator of an exhibition in which literature and visual arts coalesce. Based on this idea, the curatorial and museographic scripts make plants, plant poetics and political agency the central themes. The works of three Latin American writers and four artists address and problematize issues such as the captivity of women, the voices of survivors of violence in Colombia, and the legions of marginalized people found throughout Latin America. This curatorial and autofictional essay is a proposal for comparative critique of literature and visual arts, in which philosophy, botany and creative writing come to shape the reflection.
