Abstract

En su trabajo más reciente, Nathan Richardson explora las diferentes
transformaciones físicas y simbólicas del espacio que tuvieron lugar en España durante la segunda mitad del siglo XX. Consciente de la creación de nuevos referentes culturales dentro de las dinámicas del capitalismo, Constructing Spain se centra en la representación del espacio como práctica significativa de una identidad nacional que simultáneamente anhela y rechaza los efectos de la modernización.
