Abstract
¿Qué es la selva en el poemario Sortilegios, de la poetisa venezolana contemporánea Diana Lichy? En este texto se exploran varios mecanismos mediante los cuales en este poemario se construye la selva amazónica como un espacio vivido, no como un simple reemplazo de la exótica selva imaginada por la conquista. Entre los mecanismos de este poemario se destacan la mirada onírica o la mirada chamánica, y una particular construcción del espacio y el tiempo. El poemario es muestra de la incorporación de un rico imaginario amerindio e invita a acercarse a ese imaginario y al espacio que habita desde muchos sentidos, no sólo desde la mirada que occidentalizó la selva.
