Abstract

El artículo trata de las emergencias del concepto de cosmopolitismo en diferentes momentos de la literatura hispanoamericana. Percibiendo su relación con los momentos de desplazamientos masivos, el artículo adopta la obra Cosmópolis (1908), del autor argentino Ricardo Rojas, como punto de partida de una comparación contrastiva con otras nociones de cosmopolitismo desarrolladas durante el siglo XX. Las relaciones entre cosmopolitismo y globalización son discutidas a través de la obra del chileno Roberto Bolaño y la cubana Ena Lucía Portela.
