Abstract
El objetivo del artículo es interrogar la presencia de las vanguardias del siglo XX en la producción literaria y crítica actual. A partir de la reemergencia de referencias, principios y tipos de funcionamiento pertenecientes a ese ámbito en algunos autores con mucha repercusión, como César Aira, se recorren los valores de denominación de las vanguardias y algunos relatos que circulan sobre ellas. Se postula que para entender el fenómeno es necesario incluir una reflexión sobre concepciones temporales y la eventualidad de una relación diferente con la cronología histórica y estética.
